CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATE: $1,622,742 - $1,803,047 Student Recreation Center - Create Outdoor Fitness Center A Diversity Participation goal of 10% MBE, 10% Combined WBE, DBE, Veteran Owned Business and 3% SDVE has been established for this contract. Information regarding bid results will be available the day following the bid opening by calling (573) 882-1133 Contractor shall not be on site May 18th through May 21st during University Commencement activities. General Description of Work: (1) Project consists of construction of a new outdoor fitness area at the Student Recreation Center. (2) Demolition shall consist of removal of the outdoor swimming pool, surrounding stamped concrete deck, and all associated outdoor swimming pool equipment back to the exterior wall of the Student Recreation Center. (3) Architectural work shall consist of new outdoor fitness turf and rubber flooring, concrete masonry storage sheds, and a combination of fabricsunshades and translucent sandwich panel canopies. (4) Structural work shall consist of new sloped concrete slab on grade and structural framing for the sun shading devices. (5) Mechanical work shall consist of new radiant heaters and ventilation fans mounted to the sun shading structural frame. (6) Electrical work shall consist of new LED exterior lighting, power to the overhead doors of the storage sheds, card reader access. (7) Plumbing work shall consist of new storm drainage collection system and new exterior drinking fountains. Work shall be performed under this Contract on campus of the University of Missouri - Columbia, at the Student Recreation Center at 1000 Rollins Street.
