This project has been postponed due no bids. No bids shall be considered unless accompanied by such security. In lieu of a pre-bid meeting, contractors may call the Public Works department at 847/368-5805 to schedule a site viewing. Bidders shall comply with the Prevailing Wage Rate Act (820 ILCS 130). Bidders will also be required to comply with the applicable equal employment opportunity provisions. The Village of Arlington Heights reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding and to accept the bid deemed by the Board of Trustees to be the most favorable to the interests of the Village. THIS WORK CONSISTS OF DESIGN, FABRICATION, SUPPLY, INSTALLATION, AND TESTING OF NEW FALL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT TO BE INSTALLED AT VARIOUS STRUCTURES WITHIN THE PROJECT SITE. DESIGN FALL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT TO MEET THE PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENT SPECIFICATIONS OF THIS DOCUMENT AS WELL AS APPLICABLE BUILDING CODES AND OSHA/ANSI STANDARDS. B.GUARDRAILS 1. SUPPLY AND INSTALL SAFETY GUARDRAILS ALONG ROOF PERIMETER INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING APPROXIMATE TOTAL LINEAR FEET QUANTITIES BY STRUCTURE: a. STRUCTURE A (72 FEET) b. STRUCTURE B (58 FEET) c. STRUCTURE C (86 FEET) d. STRUCTURE D (133 FEET) 2. PERFORM ROOFING REPAIRS AND FLASHING OF MOUNTING BRACKET ROOF PENETRATIONS AS REQUIRED FOR GUARDRAIL INSTALLATION.
