Saving Project...

Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Sandspit, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The Ministry is seeking a Contractor to expand the the Tow Hill parking lot in Naikoon Park to accommodate increasing visitor day use. The Contractor will supply the equipment and aggregates required to expand the parking lot as described in the design drawings, and install two pit toilets and tanks supplied by the Ministry. Documents can be obtained from https://new.bcbid.gov.bc.ca/ Conduct a Wildlife Danger Tree Assessment of the worksite to a level of disturbance 3 by a qualified assessor and modify or remove unsafe trees prior to April 15, 2023. Construct the parking lot expansion as described in the Issue for Tender Drawings 2113-1-2. Remove the existing pit toilet, tank and concrete pad. Dispose of the tank. Make all reasonable efforts to preserve the concrete pad for re-use, transport the intact concrete pad and toilet to the BC Parks office in Tlell. Backfill and restore Install two pit toilets and tanks supplied by the Ministry. Supply and install concrete pads for the pit toilets. Dispose of all slash, stumps and organic debris offsite.
