The Work includes the following major items: a. Site Preparation and Demolition b. Site Work including but not limited to furnishing and installation of: plantings, subsurface drainage and utilities, statue and wall foundations, walls, paving, curbing, soil importation, site lighting, interpretive engraving panel, flag poles, bronze bas reliefs, site furnishings, irrigation, horticultural soil coordination, sodded lawn areas and related earthwork. c. Coordination with Electrical Utility to disconnect and remove existing electrical within the site including, lighting, wiring, hand holes and manholes. d. Coordination with Natural Gas Utility to coordinate construction requirements surrounding existing gas main. f. Coordination with Marina Bay Corporation Access Corporation related to traffic detours during crosswalk, roadway and boardwalk work. Coordination related to gazebo structure by others. The work under this Contract consists of but is not limited to: construction of architectural park and landscape features including associated utility improvements in accordance with the contract documents. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form All work under this contract shall be completed within one hundred eighty-eight (188) calendar days from the Notice of Award. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total value of the bid in the form of a bid bond or certified/treasurer's check. The bidding and award of this contract shall be in full compliance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 30, Section 39M, as last revised. All Federal, State and City of Quincy regulations and subject to the minimum wage rates set under the Massachusetts Prevailing Wage Law Chapter 149, 26 to 27H and/or any applicable federal rates. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids when such an action is deemed in the best interests of the City.
