A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Contractor shall complete all Work required by the Contract Documents within 120 calendar days from the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed The project is located south of the City of Escalon, between River Road and Meyers Avenue intersection with McHenry Avenue. The project consists of the installation of approximately 4,500 L.F. of 24" PVC sewer pipe and the removal and repaving of 3,350 L.F. of Meyers Avenue. The new sewer line shall pass under the existing South San Joaquin Irrigation District Main Ditch by use of bore & jack. Union Pacific Railroad tracks and crossing, both abandoned, shall be removed with the new sewer line being installed within a steel casing at railroad rightof-way. The installation of the pipeline within the Union Pacific Railroad shall be done by open trench. South San Joaquin Irrigation District facilities, 12" & 30" concrete irrigation pipelines shall be removed and replaced to make way for the new sewer line. The City of Escalon requires all bidders on City public works projects requiring a Class A contractor license with a contract value greater than $100,000, or as determined by the City Engineer, must be prequalified as a condition of bidding on said projects. It is mandatory that all contractors who intend to submit bids fully complete the prequalification questionnaire, provide all materials requested, and be approved by the City to be on the final bidders list. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor that has failed to comply with these requirements.
