Renovation of an educational facility in Kearney, Nebraska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

The project located at the Kearney Public Schools Bryant, Emerson, and Park Elementary School Sites include the following: General Scope of Work: Reconstruct the main restrooms in each building to provide ADA accessibility. As an alternate to this project, the Owner will replace flooring in the corridors in each of the buildings with new Rubber Flooring. Specific Subcontractor and Supplier Scopes of Work: We are seeking subcontractor and supplier bids for the following scopes of work for this project: Interior Demolition, Concrete floor replacement, Masonry patching/toothing and repair, Misc. Steel erection, joint sealants, hollow metal doors, frames, and hardware, Gypsum Drywall and Metal Stud Framing, Paint, Acoustical Ceilings, Flooring (tile, wall tile, and alternate corridor rubber flooring), FRP. HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical scopes have been previously awarded and will NOT be part of this bid package. It is anticipated that this work would start at the Bryant and Emerson schools when the school year is over on or around May 22nd, 2023. Work must be completed during the summer months prior to school beginning on or about August 4, 2023. Work at Park Elementary School will not begin until the summer of 2024 (May) and must be completed by August 1, 2024. This project will be managed by BD Construction as the Construction Manager, who will also be heavily involved within the scheduling of the project. The successful bidders may be required to furnish Corporate Surety Performance and Payment Bonds and/or Supply Bonds in a sum equal to 100% of the contract price. Include in the bid an add cost to provide performance and payment bonds. Proposals should be all inclusive, and will not be subject to further cost increases. All proposals shall remain in effect for a period of Forty-Five (45) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of proposals. All bids are to be in strict accordance with the Contract Documents and all other related Bid Documents, which can be viewed/obtained (electronically) from BD Construction. Contact the offices of BD construction for additional information. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all bids and to reject a bid not conforming to the bidding documents; or to reject a bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular and to waive any informalities in any proposal.
