Renovation of a water / sewer project in Waterford, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 26,2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. A. The work of this CONTRACT generally includes: 1. Construction of a new water treatment plant building, installation of treatment equipment and appurtenances and associated site work. 2. Modification of the existing water treatment to utilize the existing subsurface tankage for pre-treatment. 3. Piping between the two treatment plants and clearwell. 4. Demolition of equipment at the existing water treatment plant. 5. Miscellaneous work, testing and cleanup. The EPA goal for use of Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) is 8%. Current DBE Fair Share Objective/Goal of this contract has a negotiated Fair Share Objectives and Goals for DBE utilization of: 1.18% Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and 3.66% Woman Business Enterprises(WBE) The Project consists of construction of a new ultrafiltration water treatment facility and modification of the existing water treatment facility.
