Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Dunwoody, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and road / highway.
The City of Dunwoody is seeking cost proposals to design a concept level plan and profile layout for a 12-foot-wide shared use path connecting existing facilities on Old Georgetown Trail and Georgetown Square. One potential route that has been considered follows the Georgia Power Transmission lines along the I-285 Right-of-Way but due to grade challenges, switchbacks and/or walls will need to be considered to remain on this alignment or other alignments may need to be considered. Public Works, Parks & Recreation, Finance, Purchasing, City Manager, Human Resources, Information Technology, Community Development, Communications, Police, Economic Development, Courts The City reserves the right to reject any or all responses for any reason. Clarification of information may be requested by the City. As of September 5, 2023, a design team has been identified. Construction began in March 2023. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
