The City of Seattle Public Utilities (SPU) is requesting qualifications from qualified consultants to support the SPU Project Delivery and Engineering Branch (PDEB) in providing project delivery services to the SPU Water Line of Business (WLOB) in support of SPU's Water Main Rehabilitation Program. SPU is seeking to select up to three (3) Consultant Teams for a period of five (5) years. The initial On-Call Contract authorization is anticipated to start at $5,000,000 per Consultant Team selected over the five-year contract period. Depending on the Consultant Team's performance and SPU's need, each contract authorization may be amended to be increased up to $10,000,000 or greater. Selected Consultant Teams may be assigned to provide planning, preliminary engineering, design, drafting, technical support, permitting and environmental compliance support, bidding support, construction support, commissioning, project management, community engagement, and/or closeout services as part of the contract. SPU will review the scope of work, consultant expectations, and answer questions from the prospective bidders. Although attendance at this meeting is not mandatory, attendance is highly encouraged.
