This project consists of approximately 2,200 linear feet of 12-inch water main along Old Bastrop Highway at the intersection with FM 621 and approximately 900 linear feet of 6-inch water main along Staples Road north of Old Bastrop Highway. The project includes gate valves, fire hydrants, air release valves, flush valves, tie-ins, and a jack and bore installation. This project consists of approximately 3,500 linear feet of 12-inch water line along FM 1102. The proposed pipeline includes fire hydrants, gate valves, and connecting existing meter services. Proposed method of construction is by open trench and slick bore. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas. Proposals received will be for a single Contract. Proposals shall be provided on a unit price basis as indicated on the Bid Form. The project will be awarded to the highest scoring respondent based on set evaluation criteria (included in the Bidding Documents). A Respondent's failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Proposals may be held by CCSUD for a period not to exceed 60 days from the due date of the proposals for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and researching respondent's qualifications prior to the contract award.
