Renovation of a water / sewer project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Work included in this project shall be performed in accordance with the most current version of the City of Houston Standard Construction Specifications and Standard Construction Details for Wastewater Collection Systems, Water Lines, Storm Drainage, Street Paving and Traffic and Harris County Standard Engineering Design Specifications including any subsequent revisions or amendments, whether or not such specifications are included herein. Project includes: 1. Bypass pumping (500 gpm - 2,000 gpm) 2. Removal and replacement of four (4) sets of existing ductile iron wet well piping, base elbows, pump rails and hardware; 3. Removal and replacement of four (4) sets of valve vault pipe, valves and fittings; 4. Cementitious resurfacing of concrete surfaces in wet well; 5. Protective coatings for wet well and piping; 6. Wet well cleaning before and after the work (allowance); 7. Temporary fencing, if required to accommodate bypass & working space; 8. Other related work.
