Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mount Horeb, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

**As of April 18,2023. project was awarded to Rule Construction, Ltd, awarded amount is $1,342,719.85.** The Village of Mount Horeb reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any technicality, and to accept any bid that it deems advantageous. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days after the time set for bid opening. The Contract award shall be made based on the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder. ESTIMATE OF PRINCIPAL ITEMS Excavation 4,300 CY Concrete Curb & Gutter 3,600 LF Concrete Driveway 940 SF Base Course (12") 5,600 TONS Bituminous Pavement 8,300 SY Water Main 2,160 LF Hydrants 7 EACH Sanitary Sewer Main 1,900 LF Bids from Bidders not on the Plan Holders List may be returned as being not responsive. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to at least 10% of the maximum bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the Contractor will, within 10 days of receipt of the Notice of Award, furnish the Owner with a Performance and Payment Bond equal to the Contract price. Time of Completion. All work shall be completed and ready for final acceptance by August 26, 2023. All work shall be completed within 75 calendar days from the time that construction commences
