The Department of Public Works (DPW), Parks, Recreation, and Cemetery Division (PRC) recognizes the need for a complete renovation of the six (6) asphalt tennis courts located at West High School. The successful Bidder will address the day-to-day administration of the project and will provide a project manager to coordinate with the City. Bidders should submit a firm maximum price based on the following outline of general project parameters and a target budget than cannot exceed three hundred thousand dollars and zero cents ($300,000). All questions and any deviations from the scope of work indicated herein must be submitted in writing to the project manager no later than five (5) business days before the bid opening Questions Due 9:00 am Friday, March 3, 2023 Project Begins As soon as possible for completion before the May 1, 2023 or after Thursday, June 15, 2023 Project Completed By May 1, 2023 or before Thursday, August 31, 2023 The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in or reject any or all bids and to accept the bid deemed most favorable to the interest of the City of Manchester A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder at the time of signing the contract agreement. Bid security, in the form of a bid bond, a deposit of cash, or a certified check, bank cashier's or bank official's check drawn on a solvent bank, payable to the "City of Manchester" in the required amount (see REQUEST FOR BIDS) must accompany each bid as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered.
