For Network Hardware and Management The Louisville Free Public Library seeks to establish an E-Rate-eligible contract with a vendor to provide networking hardware, management tools and associated maintenance services to increase our router/edge throughput capacity to a minimum of 10 Gbps at all locations. Factors to be considered include the cost of E-Rate-eligible items, the cost of non-E-Rate-eligible items, and the fit of the proposed technical solution with the Library's needs as specified in the bid document. The process of accepting Proposals and choosing the successful proposer shall be by sealed Requests for Proposals ("RFP's") using the competitive negotiation process under KRS 45A.370. The Metro Government, if it chooses to award a contract based on this Proposal, shall do so on the basis of the Proposal which is most advantageous to it based upon the Evaluation Criteria set forth herein. (KRS 45A.370(5)). Questions Due Date: Feb 15th 2023, 3:00 PM EST Any inquiries about this RFP shall be addressed in writing electronically The Metro Government shall not permit a Proposer to withdraw its Proposal for sixty (60) days after Proposals are opened, unless the Metro Government makes a specific exception in writing. Further, Proposal prices shall be firm for a minimum of six (6) months after the Proposal closing date. The initial term of the contract will be from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. Subsequent renewals will be for the entire fiscal year from July 1 to June 30 and MUST NOT exceed a 7% increase year over year in final price charged to the Library.
