2023 Sidewalk Replacement Program, 092023002 - The improvement includes reconstruction of brick sidewalks, Class A and Class B Portland Cement Concrete (PCC) sidewalks of varying thicknesses including all appurtenances, in accordance with the contract documents, at various city-wide locations in Des Moines, Iowa. Sidewalks will be replaced at locations inspected by the Engineering Department. Curb ramps that are in compliance with the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 will also be constructed in the vicinity where sidewalks will be replaced. Time for Commencement and Completion of Work. Work on each improvement shall be commenced upon approval of the contract by the Council, and completed as stated below. Bid Security.
