For Construction of 10 Tennis and 10 Pickleball Courts The Scope of Work Includes: Construction of a new tennis and pickleball courts at Hamilton Crossing Park. The project is 10 new tennis courts and 10 new pickleball courts. The tennis scope of work will include all work, court apparatus and lighting inside the fence including the fence with gates. The pickleball courts will include all work, court apparatus and lighting inside the fence including the fence with gates, in addition to walkway paths and drainage inside the fence. Bidders submitting bids must have completed 5 similar athletic court projects in the last 5 years Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. All bonds must be countersigned by a Georgia Resident Agent. A Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Bid Price and a Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred Twenty percent (100%) of the Bid Price and a Certificate of Insurance must be furnished by the successful bidder prior to commencing work. Bidders shall inform themselves of and comply with all conditions and specifications contained in the bid package, contract, related documents, and State and Federal Laws, and moreover in specific to the Contract Conditions. Payment for the work will be made on a monthly basis and within 30 days of the date in which billing is received. Applications for payment should be submitted on or before the first of each month and will be approved for payment by the OWNER on the basis of work in place. One contract shall be awarded covering all work and the maximum time for completion shall not exceed 120 consecutive calendar days from the start date specified in the Notice to Proceed. Bidders must also comply with the Georgia Security and Immigration Compliance Act (O.C.G.A. 50-36-1) and the Federal Work Authorization Program (O.C.G.A. 13-10- 91). Contractor and Sub-Contractor Compliance Affidavits must be completed and submitted as a part of the bid documents in order to be considered for this project. The right is reserved by the Owner to delay the award of the Contract for a period not to exceed one hundred twenty (120) days from the date of opening of the bids.
