Submission sent electronically accepted: No The City of Thurso wishes to obtain bids for infrastructure replacement and rehabilitation work on rue Gagnon and on a section of rue Victoria (route 148). The project involves the replacement of 545 m of sanitary sewer line, 90 m of storm sewer line, 340 m of water main, the rehabilitation by lining of 245 m of sanitary sewer line and the addition of 270 m of new storm sewer line. Tenderers can obtain all tender documents, including plans and specifications and tender forms, via the electronic tendering system . The documents will be available from February 16, 2023 and the fees are set according to the rates established by the electronic tendering system . Any request for information must be made in writing to: Mr. Sylvain Parenteau, Director and Public Works Foreman 161, rue Galipeau, Thurso (QC) J0X 3B0 tp@villethurso.ca Tenders and all documents required in the tender documents, including a tender guarantee equivalent to 10% of the tender . In the event that the opening of tenders takes place during a period when government emergency measures prohibit the holding of a public opening, all tenders received from eligible tenderers are opened by the contracting authority or his representative, in the presence two witnesses who have no interest in the contract, without the presence of those who tendered or any other public, on the date, time and place mentioned. An audiovisual recording of the tender opening session will be made available, as soon as possible, in the electronic tendering system or offered to invited tenderers before the contract is awarded . The City of Thurso does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received, and it incurs no liability with regard to one or the other of the tenderers in the event of rejection of all the tenders. .
