The scope of this contract shall be to provide asbestos and lead based paint reports on structures the Airport intends to demolish. The required services include, but are not limited to, the following: A) The Contractor must be Asbestos Accredited in North Carolina. B) The Contractor will be required to provide an Asbestos Survey on every structure prior to demolition. All such services will comply with all federal, state and local environmental laws. Contractor may also have to provide Mold and industrial hygiene surveys. C) The Contractor will also provide oversight of underground storage tank removals, sampling water & soil and contaminated soil removal. D) The Contractor will be required to conduct air monitoring if needed on any demolitions. This will include coordination with the demolition contractor and ensuring the abatement procedures follow all applicable laws. E) The Contractor will be required to provide the City of Charlotte with a Visual or Air Monitoring Clearance letter and any other documentation required to ensure all abatement is completed safely while following all applicable laws. F) The Asbestos Consultant will be acting as the City of Charlotte's Project Monitor for asbestos removal and air monitoring.
