Franklin County, NC is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from qualified professional engineering or architectural firms to design and execute the Epsom Park Master Plan Phase I that was developed for and received funding from the Parks & Recreation Trust Fund (PARTF). Additional services include developing site design and construction bid documents based on the Master Plan and PARTF contract, and construction observation services. Specific work requirements include but are not limited to the following: Project design, permitting, construction documents, and specifications preparation based on the Epsom Park Master Plan and PARTF Grant Application and Contract Release bid advertisement, review and tabulate bids, and make recommendations for award for construction of Epsom Park Phase I Provide project management and construction observation services, including third-party inspections for material testing if necessary Coordinate with County Administration and Staff Prepare necessary meeting agendas and minutes, and any other applicable documents Alternative evaluations for amenities if appropriate Prepare and submit necessary permit applications and provide necessary coordination required to obtain regulatory approvals including payment of all permit or review fees, charges, or expenses - this project is exempt from Franklin County Planning and Inspection fees Prepare project budget and schedule and provide regular updates Participate in project kick-off meeting and monthly status update meetings Provide milestone review documents (plans, technical specifications, and opinion of probable construction cost (OPCC) at the design development, 30%, 60%, and 90% levels along with 100% (bid) and conformed sets.
