Main Campus Pavement, Phase Iii notice to bidders sealed, single prime bids. Bids may be mailed to or delivered by carrier to the attention of Mr. Steven C. Graham, Vance-Granville Community College, Main Campus, 200 Community College Road, Henderson, NC 27537. Bids must be submitted on Section 00 41 13 "BID FORM" furnished by the Engineer and addressed as stated above with the project name, bidder's name, license number, and the date and time for receiving bids. All bidders are hereby notified that they shall be properly licensed under the state laws governing their trades. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of ninety (90) days. The Owner reserves the unqualified right to accept or reject any and/or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner's best interest. The undersigned, as bidder, hereby declares that the only person or persons interested in this bid as principal or principals is or are named herein and that no other person than herein mentioned has any interest in this bid or in the contract to be entered into; that this proposal is made without connection with any other person, company or parties making a bid or proposal; and that it is in all respects fair and in good faith without collusion or fraud. The Bidder further declares that he has examined the site of the work and the contract documents relative thereto dated February 15, 2023 as prepared by REI Engineers, Inc., and has read all special provisions furnished prior to the opening of bids; that he has satisfied himself relative to the work to be performed. The Bidder proposes and agrees if this bid is accepted to contract with the Owner in the form of contract specified, to furnish all necessary materials, equipment, machinery, tools apparatus, means of transportation and labor necessary to complete the construction of the project with a definite understanding that no money will be allowed for extra work except as set forth in the General Conditions and the Contract Documents.
