Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Bids for this Contract shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid. All Bids shall be effective for sixty (60) calendar days. The Work must be complete and in place by June 30, 2023. The Work generally consists of furnishing all equipment and labor for but not necessarily limited to the following: Paving Seam Sealing (1 Location), 9.5MM overlay (3,412 SY 6 locations), incidental milling and sealing. The full scope of work and the locations are further identified in the project documents. The municipality, through the CoStars contract, will purchase all bituminous materials. The contractor is responsible to haul all bituminous materials from the Pottsville Materials asphalt plant located in Darkwater. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. All work must conform to the most recent edition of PennDOT Publication 408 unless otherwise specified. The East Norwegian Township Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all Bids or portions thereof, and to accept any Bid, or portion of Bid, which in its judgment is in the best interest of the Township. East Norwegian Township and their representatives are not responsible for bids mailed but not received. All bids shall be sealed, marked and addressed as indicated in the contract documents
