For a new membrane roofing system at the Atrium and restoration of exterior limestone column bearing shelves at the Union County Courthouse, El Dorado, Arkansas. A certified Bid Tabulation will be produced and distributed as quickly as is practical following the bid opening. A five percent (5%) corporate Bid Bond or a certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany all submitted bids on construction contracts that exceed $20,000.00 in accordance with ACA 22-9-203. Bidders must comply with all requirements of Contractors Licensing Laws of the State of Arkansas, Act 150 of 1965, as amended, and Arkansas Code 22-9-204 section 3.6(a). A Performance and Payment Bond, equal to the amount of the contract, and issued by a surety approved by the Owner and authorized to do business in the State of Arkansas will be required of the successful bidder. Pursuant to Ark. Code Ann. 22-9-203, the Owner encourages all small, minority, and women business enterprises to submit bids for capital improvements. Encouragement is also made to all general contractors that in the event they subcontract portions of their work, consideration is given to the identified groups. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. Proposals which fail to comply fully with any provision of the Plans, Specifications and other Contract Documents will be considered invalid and will not receive consideration. Contract Documents may be examined at the Office of the Architect. Questions regarding drawings and specifications should be addressed to the Architect. a. Clean horizontal surfaces ofrecessed column bearing shelf and its vertical outside edges at all facades of existing building. c. Remove mortar from all joints in horizontal surfaces ofrecessed column bearing shelf and its vertical outside edges at all facades of existing building. d. Repoint all joints in horizontal surfaces of recessed column bearing shelf and its vertical outside edges at all facades of existing building.
