Project limits shall be provided by the Crawford County Road Commission and shall indicate same by staking and additional side markings with orange ribbon and or paint. An on-site conference between the contractor and the Crawford County Road Commission is required before work begins. Except in areas to be excavated, stump holes and other holes from which, obstructions are removed shall be backfilled with suitable material. All work is confined within the 66-foot-wide right of way. Do not cut the marked boundary lines trees. Use ofPrivate Property shall not be permitted unless by written permission by the Landowner. A copy ofwritten permission shall be provided to the Crawford County Road Commission office prior to work. Contractor is required to have written permission from landowner to place any fill, trees, stumps, or debris on private property. A copy ofthe permission slip shall be provided to the Road Commission office prior to work. Dozer rake required on this project. Contractors to remove all debris from Road R.O.W. including trees, brush, stumps. Care should be taken to preserve any property surveys or concrete monuments. Ifrequested by an adjacent landowner, all firewood shall be left outside ofthe right-ofway. This wood shall be cut into lengths no less than eight feet, having a diameter of at least six inches. Work is for the removal of all trees and brush, stumps, and debris, located within the project limits Burning of perishable material shall be done in accordance with applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. All necessary permit approvals shall be obtained prior to burning. Unless burned in accordance with the requirements herein, perishable materials and debris shall be removed from the right-of-way and disposed ofin accordance to local regulations. Traveled portion ofthe roadway shall be restored to its original condition or better at the end of each day's work. Contractor shall not be allowed to shut down segments ofthe roadway when working. Roadway must be opened to traffic at the end of each day's work. Contractor shall provide the Road Commission with a traffic control plan prior to commencement of work Traffic Control Devices and flagmen shall be the responsibility ofthe Contractor. Traffic shall always be maintained unless otherwise agreed upon.
