Renovation of a water / sewer project in Morehead City, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Town of Morehead City has received funding from the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (NCDEQ) Division of Water Infrastructure as follows: 1. Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements Grant and Loan in amount of $6,000,000 for improvements at the WWTP to achieve compliance with NPDES Permit limits for copper, nickel and zinc. Contingent upon formal awards, the Town of Morehead City is soliciting requests for qualifications for professional services to assist the Town of Morehead City in development of a Water-Effect Ratio (WER) for Copper, Nickel and Zinc, re-calculation of Copper, Nickel and Zinc Water Quality Criteria and a Copper, Nickel and Zinc Translator Determination. Payment terms will be negotiated with the selected firm. The fees for professional services will be paid with grant/loan funds.
