Reference number : 1692474 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-03-09 Submission sent electronically accepted: No Municipal file: AOP-2302 The Municipality of Lanoraie would like to receive bids for the winter maintenance of its roads (clearing, piling, supply and spreading of abrasives, de-icing, collection, etc.). The contract will be for a period of 1, 3 or 5 years depending on the option chosen by the municipality and will begin during the 2023-24 winter season. The municipal road network consists of approximately 57 km of road. The contractor agrees that the equipment required under this estimate will be stored on the territory of the municipality or within a radius of 35 km from the town hall of the municipality (57, rue Laroche, Lanoraie, J0K 1E0), for the duration of the contract. This storage site must be located on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River. A price adjustment clause based on fuel prices is included in the tender documents. To be valid, each tender must be accompanied by a tender guarantee for an amount equal to ten percent (10%), before taxes, of the total amount of the tender, payable to the Municipality of Lanoraie. The bid security will essentially be in one of the following forms and must be valid for a minimum period of ninety (90) days. a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, drawn on an account registered in a banking institution or a Caisse populaire doing business in Québec, and made out to the order of the Municipality. This guarantee must be cashable in Quebec, upon request; Or a bid bond issued by a financial institution holding the required permits and in accordance with the laws in force in Quebec, authorizing it to carry out the activity of bonding, in accordance with the law, and established without reservation in favor of the Municipality. Only bids from companies having an establishment in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental market liberalization agreement is applicable, in a province or territory covered by this agreement will be considered, for the purpose of awarding the contract. Contractors must hold the required license. The municipality does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders and incurs no obligation towards the tenderers. Each tenderer who agrees to submit a proposal also accepts that the choice made is final.
