The Commissioners Court of Nueces County (hereinafter called the "County") will accept sealed competitive bids for: Hazel Bazemore Park New Restroom Building in accordance with the Drawings, Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by Ardurra Group Inc. DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT A. The project includes: 1). Demolition of existing 540 sf masonry walled Restroom Bldg. with concrete foundation, wood frame roof & built-up roofing (ACM presence probable); 230 sf of concrete walk; approx. 100 lf of low wood fence & septic tank. 2). Construction of a 1,387-sf single story Restroom Bldg. consisting of four primary spaces (Men, Women, Entry Porch & Maint. /Storage Rm.), with concrete foundation, painted masonry walls, wood framed roof with standing seam metal roofing, plumbing & electrical. 3). Sitework includes underground installation of Wastewater Treatment System to include irrigation distribution of treated effluent; accessible parking (minimal conc. paved area) will be included as well as conc. walk accessible access to building. Nueces County does not provide project estimated cost, in order to receive the lowest & best bid for our taxpayers. Contractor should include coverage for a builder's risk policy insuring the full replacement cost value of the building and improvements against all perils to include windstorm and flood. Time is of the essence. Failure to complete the Project within the contract time, except as such time may be extended by delays approved by County, will subject the Bidder to whom the contract is awarded (hereinafter called the "Contractor") to liability for damages, as provided in the Conditions of the Contract.
