Work includes the complete replacement of the existing HVAC system in its entirety, reroof, replacement of the mechanical equipment yard, new corridor lighting and ceilings, new fire alarm system, repairs and modifications to existing toilet room plumbing fixtures, interior wall, ceiling, & floor finish repair, and some asbestos abatement. Existing building roof and floor structure will modified in key areas to accept new structural members to support the new roof top HVAC equipment loads and accommodate new ductwork chases in the building. The interior finish repair work includes modifications and corrections to existing gypsum plaster wall finishes, repainting work at walls and ceilings, repairs to terrazzo floors at key areas, and new ACT ceilings in main corridors. Additionally, a below grade water intrusion issue at the ground floor cafeteria area will be corrected and waterproofing and drainage system will be added.
