Each bid must be on a Districts form and accompanied with a certified or cashier's check or bid bond with an approved surety company as defined in the Code of Civil Procedure 995.120, payable to "Los Angeles County Sanitation District No. 2," for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount bid as guaranty that the bidder, if successful, will enter into the proposed contract and will provide separate performance (100%) and payment bonds (100%), insurance certificates, and other required documents for all required labor, material, equipment and tools. No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening of bids. At the time of bid, the Contractor must possess a valid California Contractor s License C10 Electrical and maintain the license throughout the duration of the contract. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President s Executive Order No. 11246. This is a prevailing wage job. The contractor and subcontractor shall use the rates for Los Angeles County area for each trade, craft, classification, or type of work needed to execute the contract.
