The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to: Landscape Maintenance in the Village of University in the City of Irvine Online Q&A Questions and requests for clarifications will be received until 4:00 p.m. February 27, 2023 General process questions may be directed to the following: Brian D. Brown Senior Buyer bbrown@cityofirvine.org Contract Term: It is Anticipated That the Contract Shall Commence on or About July 1, 2023, and Shall Continue Through June 30, 2024. The City Reserves the Right to Extend This Agreement for Up to Two (2) Additional One (1) Year Periods. Such Extension Shall Only Be Valid if Effectuated in Writing by the City. Said check or bidder's bond shall be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. The Performance and Payment Bond shall be not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the bid price named in the contract. Prime Contractor must possess a valid C-27 Contractors License at the time of submitting the bid, the Bidder shall be licensed as a contractor in accordance with the provisions of California Business and Professions Code Chapter 9, Division 3. Prevailing wage requirements apply to public works projects with a value exceeding $1,000.00. The definition of "public works" is found at Labor Code Section 1720, et seq.
