The hot-mix asphalt paving work includes the construction of an aggregate base course, asphalt base and wearing courses as specified herein. This work is to replace paving disturbed by the construction and any damages to paving by Contractors operations, as well as new pavement and driveways, within the limits shown on the plans. The Project has an expected duration of ninety (90) days. A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Owner's Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am TO 3:00 pm, Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Engineer's Office on Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
