The objective of this ITB is to secure the services of an experienced contractor in the procurement, manufacturing, modification and installation of Shade Canopies at McDonald Water Park for the Parks & Recreation department. The City of Hialeah reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Hialeah for a period not to exceed one hundred eighty (180) days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding of the contract. The City of Hialeah reserves the right to accept or reject bids on each item separately or as a whole. All communications concerning this Solicitation should be directed to the City's Purchasing Manager. Potential Bidders and their agents and employees shall not contact the Mayor, any member of the City Council, or any member of the City staff, except the Purchasing Manager, to discuss this Solicitation. Imposition of a cone of silence on this Invitation to Bid shall not preclude purchasing staff from obtaining industry comment or performing market research provided all communications related thereto with a potential offeror, service provider, Bidder, lobbyist, or consultant are in writing or are made at a duly noticed public meeting.
