Bid Deposit in the amount of 5% of the total bid. This may be a certified check or bid bond, payable to the Town of Chelmsford. The Town of Chelmsford reserves the right to waive any informality and/or to reject any or all bids if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town Any questions regarding this Bid should be addressed to Tony Reppucci, Town Engineer by email: areppucci@chelmsfordma.gov responses to questions will be posted on the website: chelmsfordma.gov/112/Request-for-Bids as an Addenda no later than March 6th, 2023. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the town website periodically for any additional addenda. Location and Work to be Done The Location of the Work to be done is described in the project description. The Contractor will furnish all labor, services, materials, equipment, plant, machinery, apparatus, appliances, tools, supplies, and all other things necessary to do all work required for the completion of each item of the Work and as herein specified. The Work to be done and paid for under any item will not be limited to the exact extent mentioned or described but will include all incidental work necessary or customarily done for the completion of that item. Sidewalk Construction: sawcutting; removal and disposal; stripping loam and subgrade material. Furnishing and placing a new sidewalk.
