Current conditions of the course; the current putting greens, tee boxes and collars are Tif-dwarf Bermuda grass installed in 1997. It is the City's goal to begin this project at the beginning of June 2023 and have the entire project completed before the end of August 2023.The golf course shall be closed for the duration of this project with the exception of the driving range and two practice putting greens, notated as #2 and #3 in Attachment B - Oak Hollow Greens. The awarded Contractor shall be required to perform the following and shall include all costs for these services in their proposal pricing. o Provide administration and construction support services to complete the work including construction staking and surveying. o Apply for and procure all applicable permits from the applicable governing agencies. This project falls within the City of McKinney, Collin County, Texas. o Procure necessary permits for personnel, equipment, and construction operations. o Coordinate and schedule work provided by others. o Provide a list of all vendors and/or subcontractors who will be on the job. o Video record existing site conditions. o Establish traffic control on or near project site. o Establish temporary utilities (water); Note - Contractor is responsible for paying for water. o Repair of any damage to existing irrigation system. o Provide grading repair and grassing to all areas damaged by construction operations.o Clean-up. o Punch list to Substantial Completion. o Final walk-through. o Punch list and close-out to Final Acceptance. o Coordination with local municipality and other governing agencies as required. o Coordination with other contractors as required. o All work shall be completed between 6:00 AM and 9:00 PM CT. All change requests shall be made in writing to the City point of contact. o Putting Green Surfaces: o Treat 20 putting green surfaces with Broad Spectrum Herbicide before removal. o Remove existing putting green turf-grass. All removed material shall be tilled into the tee boxes to create new soil base. o Install new turf-grass green surfaces on 20 putting green surfaces. This includes 18 on-course greens, chipping green and nursery green (approx. 117,000 sq ft). o Turf-grass on putting greens shall be an Ultra Dwarf Bermuda Grass species capable of being properly maintained at 1/8" inch or less. o Shaping of new putting surface should match USGA Recommendations. See Attachment A. o Collar Surfaces: o Remove collar surfaces and install new turf-grass of 20 putting greens (approx. 25,000 Sq ft). o Turf-grass on collars of putting green shall be a suitable Bermuda grass species capable of being properly maintained at 1/2" inches. o Tee Boxes: o Removal of 56 existing tee box grass (approx. 95,000 sq ft) and installation of new expanded tee boxes with grass (approx. 124,000 sq ft after expansion of all tee boxes). o Turf-grass on tee boxes shall be a Hybrid Bermuda Grass species capable of being properly maintained at 1/2" inches. o After removed materials from putting greens is tilled into the tee boxes to create a new soil base Hybrid Bermuda Grass shall be sprigged into new soil base to create new tee boxes
