**As of April 5,2023, this project has been awarded to H.J. Eppel in the amount of $1,039,834.40. The Project includes the following work: Installing approximately 4,000 feet of 12, 18, and 24-inch diameter storm sewer. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. A pre-bid conference for the Project will NOT be held. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Work on this project is subject to the Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130). Prevailing Wages, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and the current Prevailing Wage ordinance approved by the City of Pontiac shall be paid. The submission of monthly certified payrolls to the Illinois Department of Labor and the City of Pontiac will be required. Work on this project is subject to the Illinois Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Project Act as enacted by P.A. 95-0635.
