Site work for a mixed-use development in Trumbull, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and conference / convention center.

A. The work required by the Contract Drawings and Specifications shall include furnishing all labor, skill, supervision, tools, construction plant, equipment and materials and performing all operations necessary for the proper completion of the contract work as shown on the Plans and Specifications, and as required by the Association and/or Resident Engineer. The work shall generally consist of, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Develop project schedule, apply for any necessary additional permits, and begin preparation of submittals prior to start of work at site. 2. Begin drawdown of Thrush wood Lake approximately 10 to 14 days before mobilization to the site. 3. Mobilize all necessary equipment, personnel, and material to the site and deploy temporary sediment and erosion control measures, including perimeter silt fence barriers, compost socks, construction entrance, and other BMPs. Notify the Association, Engineer, and permitting/regulatory agencies. If required, schedule and conduct site walk to inspect sediment and erosion control measures. 4. Modify sediment and erosion control measures as required. Work may proceed once approval has been provided by the Association, Engineer, and permitting/regulatory agencies. 5. Clear and grub staging areas and provide construction access to the site. Provide temporary facilities as described in the Contract Documents. The Thrush wood Lake Dam Improvements Project, located in Trumbull, Connecticut, is intended to address the inadequate spillway capacity, inadequate upstream and downstream slope stability, seepage, and the low-level outlet discharge and gate valve location. The Dam is owned and operated by the Thrush wood Lake Association of Trumbull, CT. Upon completion of the Work of this contract, Thrushwood Lake Dam will have been repaired or improved in accordance with the Contract Drawings and Specifications provided as part of the Bid Documents. The Contractor is referred to the Contract Drawings, which along with these Specifications, define the required work. Thrush wood Lake Dam - Town of Trumbull Town of Trumbull reserves the right to waive and/or reject any and all proposals or any part thereof, waive the information in the proposal process, and reject any unqualified proposals, or accept any proposal or part thereof, deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Trumbull
