For 2023 GTC Dual-Temperature Pump Improvements This project provides for: A phased removal and replacement of chilled water, hot water, dual-temperature and condensate pumps, associated piping, electrical equipment, controllers and fire protection piping modification. Project also includes concrete demolition, a mechanical pit in-fill, new concrete slab, new concrete equipment pads and metal guardrail and stair work. Consistent with Minnesota Statute, Section 473.144, MAC may not accept a bid or proposal for a contract or execute a contract in excess of $100,000 with any business unless said business is in compliance with certain requirements concerning affirmative action plans. Evidence of compliance must be submitted within (1) one MAC business day following opening of bids. Bids will be considered non-responsive if the compliance requirements are not met. Compliance requirements are outlined in the project specification. The Bid Security of the three (3) lowest bidders will be retained until the contract is executed, but in no event longer than (70) days. The Bid Security of the lowest responsible bidder shall be retained in any event until the contract is executed and Payment and Performance Bonds furnished as herein provided. The bid of the lowest responsible bidder, provided said low bidder has made a good faith effort to meet the TGB contract goal, will be accepted on or before the expiration of (70) days after the date of the opening of bids. The MAC, however, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any minor irregularities, informalities or discrepancies. For this project, bids will ONLY be received electronically.
