Renovation of a communication facility in Princeton, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a communication facility.

The City of Princeton, Texas (City) is soliciting responses to this Request for Information (RFI) from qualified and committed vendors and constructors of broadband internet services. The objective of this RFI is to understand the structure by which broadband services can be constructed, maintained, and operated using third-party services. The City has been awarded certain Federal funds in which the City intends to dedicate to the construction and operation of a broadband network to support city services and to supply broadband communications to certain underserved residential neighborhoods within and around the City limits. This RFI is intended to outline the market opportunity, and invite interested providers to submit their ideas for new or expanded service delivery in the City. This process is one of many steps that the City is taking to help unserved and underserved areas throughout the city. The City welcomes responses to this RFI from ALL interested or potentially interested parties. Since this is only to solicit preliminary interest and ideas, this RFI should not be interpreted as an invitation for bids or request for proposals. For the purposes of this RFI, the terms "respondents," "providers," and "vendors" refer to entities submitting written responses to this RFI.
