As of April 05th, 2023, the project is expected to start in early May 2023. The project consists of the open cut installation of approximately 4,420 linear feet of 15-inch diameter PVC sanitary sewer and 115 LF of 30" bore and jacked casing. The majority of the proposed sewer alignment is along the Town of Perinton's RS&E trail, with minor portions of the alignment along Ayrault Road and a wooded stream corridor. The Project also includes the installation and subsequent removal of approximately 3,800 linear feet of 8-inch diameter temporary force main to divert existing pump station sewer flows throughout the duration of construction, demolition of pumping equipment, and conversion of the pump station wet well into a sanitary sewer manhole. The project includes all necessary temporary erosion control, clearing and grubbing, installation of temporary gravel access roads, removal and reinstallation of trail signs and gates, restoration of asphalt and stone dust bike trails, turf restoration, landscaping, and removal of the existing pump station force main discharge connection. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis, as indicated in the Bid Form. Project has an expected duration of 430 days. This is a federal-aid contract subject to the approval of the U.S Treasury Department. There is a 5% DBE goal that has been established for this contract (as a percentage of the total contract bid amount). There are no M/WBE requirements or preferences contained in this contract. EEO goals in accordance with FHWA 1273 apply and have been established as follows: Minority - 5.3% and Female - 6.9%. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
