For Jaycee Park - Bridge, Trail, DISC Golf, and Watermain Improvements Inquiries Deadline Date & Time (local) 3/7/2023, 2 PM The Kent County Purchasing Division on behalf of the City of Kentwood, is soliciting bids for a Bridge, Trail, Disc Golf, and Watermain Improvements project at Jaycee Park, located at 1088 Gentian Dr SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. Funding is provided in part through a Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The allowable onsite construction period for this project is 150 consecutive days, with all project activity completed by September 29, 2023. Acceptable work hours are Monday-Saturday 7am to 7PM or sunset. No Bid Bond is required if a bid is less than $500,000. Each bid over $500,000 must be accompanied by a Bid Bond executed by the Respondent and payable to County of Kent for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds or Payment Bonds and Performance Bonds must file a certified effective dated copy of their Power of Attorney. A certified check, bank draft, cashier's check, or negotiable U.S. Government bond (at par value) may be submitted In lieu of a Bid Bond. Personal checks are NOT acceptable. If submitting the bid electronically, attach a copy of the properly executed Bid Bond to the bid. The original Bid Bond may be requested by the Kent County Purchasing Division and is to be received within two (2) business days of request.
