The City of Chilliwack (City) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EIs) from qualified Respondents to develop, design and construct the “Biological Treatment System Expansion Phase 2 Project” (the “Project”). The purpose of this Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) is to solicit submissions from Respondents, with expertise in Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) infrastructure design and construction, and an understanding of infrastructure upgrade impacts on the existing WWTP operations. The City may select up to three (3) Respondents who, at the RFP stage, will submit detailed technical and financial Proposals for the Project, depending on the quality and nature of the submissions received. The Project Work shall include the design, construction and commissioning of the process facilities presented in the included document(s). Design/build teams will provide the design services, construction services including the provision of all labour, equipment, materials and expertise for new/upgraded facilities.
