The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from Virginia Licensed Class A Electrical Contractors, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience, to provide general electrical maintenance, repairs, improvements and renovations for facilities located within the Salem District which is comprised of the counties of Bedford, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Carroll, Floyd, Henry, Patrick, Franklin, Botetourt, Craig, Roanoke and selected areas within the cities of Salem and Roanoke. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete the services described herein on an on-call, as needed basis, including 24-hour a day immediate response. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: The initial term or period of the contract shall be for a one (1) year period with the effective date to be determined at time of award, with four (4) successive one (1) year optional renewals. Any questions regarding this solicitation shall be addressed to Patty Harvey at Patty.Harvey@vdot.virginia.gov. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions by 5:00pm on March 8, 2023.
