**Project Details Only - Bid documents must be obtained directly from the owner** Miami-Dade County is soliciting interested contractors to register to participate and perform in Miscellaneous Construction Contract (MCC) Bids under the MCC 7040 & 7360 Plan projects. Contractual Opportunities are continuously available for all businesses located in Miami-Dade who are interested in doing business with the County. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, and all other items for the construction work at the Seaboard Marine Cargo Yard, located at Miami-Dade County Seaport Department. The work of this Contract consists of, but is not limited to, furnishing all materials, labor, services, supervision, tools, equipment, and supportive ancillary efforts necessary to replace approximately thirty-five (35) feet of an existing vitrified clay eight (8) inch sanitary sewer main located adjacent to Manhole (MH) #MH-55 (between MHs #MH-55 and #MH-56) and the installation of a drop manhole between MHs #MH-55 and #MH-56. All miscellaneous repairs and adjustments to the existing components of the sanitary sewer related to this work shall be performed in full accordance with the project specifications as well as in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and standards. All Work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents. The types of contracts available under the MCC Program are construction projects, facility repairs, neighborhood improvements, emergency repairs and maintenance work with a maximum value of $5.0M; ORD 09-101. All capital departments are participating. Additional opportunities are available through Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) which enables low-income families to reduce their energy bills by making their homes more energy efficient. Funds are used to improve the energy performance of dwellings by families in need, using the most advanced technologies and testing procedures available in the housing industry. Measures to make homes more energy efficient include: replacement or installation of key components, installation of energy recovery ventilation systems including bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans and installation of whole mechanical exhaust systems to provide better indoor air quality, install attic insulation, install window solar films, repair or replace inefficient cooling units, repair or replace water heaters and address air infiltration with weather stripping, caulking thresholds, minor wall repairs, ceiling and floors, windows and doors.
