Sealed proposals will be received by the Village of Lake Barrington at the Village Hall offices located at 23860 N. Old Barrington Road, Lake Barrington, Illinois for for the following work: The work shall consist of roadway resurfacing including 14,718 pounds of Bituminous Materials (Tack Coat), 4,170 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Surface Course, Mix D, N50, 5,25 tons of Hot-Mix Asphalt Binder Course, IL-19.0, N50, 39,385 square yards of Full-Depth Reclamation with Cement, 300 square yards of PCC Shoulders, 8 Inch, Special, 2, 27,840 feet of Thermoplastic Pavement Marking, Line (4"), and other related work. Prequalification of Bidders in accordance with the applicable parts of IDOT Bureau of Local Roads and Streets Recurring Special Provision "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6) will be required of all bidders on this proposal. Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as found by the Village or the Department of Labor, or as determined by the Court on Review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work as indicated in the special provisions to the specifications. MBE/WBE/PBE firms are encouraged to submit proposals. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the amount of not less than five percent of bid, or as provided in applicable parts of "Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Contract Proposals" (Check Sheet LRS 6). The right is reserved to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities.
