The FAA standards for geometry of taxiways that connect to a runway have changed. This project requires significant work within the runway safety area to meet these new standards. This project is in included in the Monroe County's FY 2025-2030 CIP. As of December 16, 2024, information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
