Demolition, site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Greenland, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the demolition of a one-unit multi-residential development; for site work for a multi-residential development; one-unit parking garage; parking garage; three-unit residential development; residential development; for the renovation of a multi-residential development; and residential development.

Description: Work of the Project includes demolition of five (5) structures (one (1) garage, two (2) single family cottage dwellings, one (1) apartment building, and one (1) barn); relocation of one (1) single family cottage dwelling; renovation of a historic farmhouse; construction of an open air picnic pavilion with enclosed accessory spaces; and construction of a four-bay garage. The demolition of the structures includes, but is not limited to, removing the buildings in their entirety, including foundations, and the cutting and capping, or removal back to the source, of utilities. The relocation of the cottage includes, but is not limited to, moving the existing single story structure across the site to a new foundation and the subsequent demolition of the existing foundation. The renovation of the farmhouse includes but is not limited to: removal and replacement of exterior siding and insulation, windows, roofing, and wood deck; alteration of interior walls; upgrading mechanical and electrical systems; the provision of a sprinkler system; and finish replacement/upgrades. The Project will include the Discipline(s) of: Site Construction, Concrete, Wood and Plastics, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Doors and Windows, Finishes, Equipment, Mechanical. Bidders Should Act Promptly and Submit All Questions in Writing to Jonathan Fudala, Fax 603/271-3515, E-mail Jonathan.a.fudala@das.nh.gov. All individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations intending to bid, before obtaining plans and specifications, must file with the Department of Transportation on forms prepared for that purpose at least ten (10) days prior to opening of bids, a statement showing their qualifications. No valid bidding proposal will be issued to a prospective bidder who is not qualified. Companies, corporations or trade names, except sole proprietorships must be registered with the Secretary of 5 State (Corporate Division, Telephone No. 603/271-3244) in order to do business with the State of New Hampshire. Bidders are advised that final bid award, as approved by Governor and Executive Council, and issuance of a notification to proceed with the work, can occur up to 60 days or more after the bid opening date. Contract award is pending availability of federal funds. Bidders must submit a 5% bid security at Bid and must furnish a 100% payment and performance security prior to execution of contract.
