Building Alterations / MEP Upgrades The project is located at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College (NWTC) in Aurora, Wisconsin. NWTC is looking to upgrade the existing mechanical system, remove a portion of the building and provide some building alterations necessary to complete the mechanical and demo work to their NWTC Aurora Campus. The scope of work will include Civil, Architectural, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical work required to change out the existing mechanical equipment and to demo a portion of the existing building. Civil work will include all site work associated with demoing the north wing of the building, including relocating the water main to the building, backfilling and seeding and providing new sidewalks. Architectural work includes demoing the building, removing and replacing ceiling for mechanical ductwork, replacing windows, recladding the building where the north wing was removed, providing new roof over mechanical room, creating some offices, remodeling the men's and women's restroom, and overall general finishes. Structural work is to include lintels over doors, new beams and metal deck roof over mechanical room and any structural support for mechanical equipment. Mechanical work will include removing the existing mechanical equipment and providing new. This will include providing all new ductwork, new piping, a new air handling unit and a new boiler system. The electrical work will include de-energizing the north wing of the building prior to demolition, removing and replacing light fixture, providing new outlets and circuits for the offices and supporting all power requirements for the mechanical equipment.
