Contractor Awarded Address: Merritt Island, FL 32953-4827 USA Base and All Options Value (Total Contract Value): $155,961.00 The purpose of this project is to "Repair Taxiway Asphalt" in accordance with Statement of Work dated 21 December 2022. In accordance with FAR 36.204(c) Magnitude of Construction Projects, the price range of this project is anticipated to be between $100,000 and $250,000. This requirement is being solicited 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 237310 and the Small Business size standard is $39,500,000.00. Funds are not presently available for this contract. Currently, the Government anticipates funds w ill become available prior to but no later than midnight 30 Sep 2023. This action has been identified on the National Guard priority list for award if funds become available and the prices received are within an awardable range. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The purpose of this project is to re-surface existing portions of the airfield taxiway asphalt via micro surfacing on Channel Islands ANG Station, CA. Areas of focus are portions of the taxiway where thermoplastic taxiway centerlines, taxiway edge lines, VFR hold position markings, and CMA boundary markings exist or had been recently removed. The Contractor shall: 3.1.1. Apply approximately 195,000 square feet (21,667 square yards) of airfield rated polymer-modified asphalt binder (micro-surfacing) over the existing asphalt surfaced airfield taxiway identified in Attachment 1. The micro-surface material and application shall be in accordance with UFC 3-270-01-2018, Change 1, Chapter 8. The material and application shall be capable of supporting military aircraft with a maximum gross load of up to 585,000 lbs. 3.1.1.1. Micro-surfacing shall fill all voids/depressions and distresses in the asphalt, to include distresses along the taxiway center line, edge lines, VFR/CMA boundary lines as indicated in Attachment 2, in order to provide a surface smoothness and transitional surface in accordance with UFC 3-260-02 and UFGS 32 12 15.13 that protects from and removes the potential for Foreign Objects and Debris (FOD) and raveling. 3.1.1.2. Surface preparation: Prior to application, surfaces shall be cleaned, prepared, dried, and any loose debris removed in accordance with manufacturer specifications and recommendations and Section 8-3.1 of UFC 3-270-01-2018. Prime/tack coat application shall be in accordance with micro-surface manufacturer specifications and UFC 3-270-01-2018. 3.1.1.3. Aggregate: Aggregate shall be clean, angular, durable, and well-graded. Use either Type II or Type III gradation per UFC 3-270-01-2018, Section 8-2.2 and Table 8-1. 3.1.1.4. All transportation, storage, application, and disposal of material shall be in accordance with manufacturer specifications and recommendations. Application shall be in a neat and clean manner with no spillage outside of the boundaries identified to be coated. 3.1.1.5. Environmental considerations: All material shall be approved by the Base Environmental Office and be in accordance with all local, State, and Federal regulations and compliance requirements. 3.2. The Government must approve all materials and execution plans prior to implementation. 3.3. References: The Contractor shall comply with the must current version of the following codes and standards: 3.3.1. UFC 3-260-02: Pavement Design For Airfields 3.3.2. UFC 3-270-01-2018_Change 1: O&M Manual - Asphalt And Concrete Pavement Maintenance And Repair 3.3.3. UFGS 32 12 15.13: Asphalt Paving for Airfields 3.3.4. AFM 88-6, C9: Bituminous Pavements Standard Practice 3.4. Performance Period: The Contractor has 14 Days from the Notice-to-Proceed (NTP) to complete all work on the project. The NTP will be issued at the Pre-Construction Conference
