For Hydrofluorosilicic Acid Supply up to 75 tons of Hydrofluorosilicic Acid annually to Fort Pierce Utilities Authority (FPUA) as required. The quantity is a good faith estimate based on previous and /or anticipated usage. FPUA reserves the right to purchase more or less than that quantity to conform to the actual need. A. The Hydrofluorosilicic Acid delivered under this specification shall be certified as being in conformance with National Sanitation Foundation/ American National Standards Institute (NSF/ANSI) Standard 60, approved for use in potable water treatment. B. The Hydrofluorosilicic Acid delivered under this specification shall conform to the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standard B703-19, or the most current standard. C. The chemical and physical properties of the Hydrofluorosilicic Acid delivered under this specification shall conform to the following: o Net H2SiF6 of between 23% - 24% o Specific Gravity of 1.22 +- 0.01 o Maximum of 1% Free Acids (other than H2SiF6) Bid Bond None No Pre-Bid Conference is planned Minority-Owned, Woman-Owned, and Small Business Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation.
