Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 20 The Department of Geological Reservoirs Expertise in the Energy sector requires the professional services of a service provider to carry out environmental characterizations of soils and groundwater. The purpose of this mandate is to award a contract for the development, planning and carrying out of environmental characterization studies, phases I and II, for 3 sites (combining 6 wells) potentially contaminated from past hydrocarbon exploration as well as from the presence of any other source of contamination resulting from these activities . The well sites targeted by this call for tenders are as follows: site No. 1 (C109), site No. 2 (CS07, CS08, C103) and site No. 3 (CS20 and CS21). This contract will begin on the date of signature by both parties and end no later than November 29, 2024 . The tender must be presented by a service provider having, in Quebec or in a territory covered by an intergovernmental agreement, an establishment where it carries out its activities on a permanent basis, clearly identified in its name and accessible during normal business hours. The Minister particularly draws your attention to clauses 3.15 and 3.16 of the call for tenders document which indicate the conditions of eligibility of service providers to tender and compliance of the tenders to be respected within the framework of this call for tenders. The service provider must be qualified on the "PQ-DERG-CARAC-2022" list for carrying out environmental characterization and rehabilitation of inactive hydrocarbon well sites. The Department does not undertake to accept any of the tenders received. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
