Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a civil project in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The Project includes the widening, milling, resurfacing, overbuild, and/or reconstruction, resulting in two tolled I-95 Express Lanes in each direction. The number of existing I-95 General Use Lanes will remain the same. Project improvements include: Construction of the SW 10th St Connector Lanes between SW 24th Avenue and I-95. Reconstruction of local SW 10th St between SW 24th Avenue and SW Natura Blvd./FAU Research Park Blvd. east of I-95. Direct connection ramps to/from I-95 General Use Lanes to SW 10th Street Connector Lanes. New on-ramp from westbound SW 10th Street local road to northbound I-95 general use lane. Improvements and expansion of local SW 10th St intersections at SW 24th Ave, Military Trail, Newport Center Drive, and SW Natura Boulevard/FAU Research Park Boulevard. New northbound I-95 on-ramp at the Hillsboro Boulevard Interchange and improvements at the Hillsboro Blvd. Interchange at the ramp terminal intersections. Addition of a new express lane in each direction from north of Sample Road to north of Hillsboro Boulevard, resulting in dual express lanes along I-95 in each direction. Improvements to ramps to/from I-95 including ramp at the intersection with local SW 10th Street. Reconstruction of 48th Street bridge over I-95, to accommodate additional express lanes and system to system ramps to/from the SW 10th Street Connector Lanes. Other project improvements include, but are not limited to, the following: guardrail; barrier wall; attenuators; shoulder gutters; drainage; bridge maintenance repairs; temporary and permanent retaining walls; noise walls; sign structures; portable traffic monitoring sites; Intelligent Transportation System (ITS); signing and pavement markings; express lane markers; lighting; ramp (metering) signals; utility relocation; landscape relocation; and any additional items required to provide a complete highway system in accordance with all standard Department policies, procedures, and guidelines. As of January 27, 2026, this project has not yet started construction. Construction is set to begin August 2026 and be completed December 2032. An owner has been identified. There are two contractors working on the SW 10th Street Connector Project: • Segment A – Prince OHLA JV • Segment B – Archer Western • Segment AB – Shared work area by Prince OHLA JV and Archer Western
